Sunny Day Pediatric Attendance Policy

Attendance Policy

We’re glad you have chosen us to provide your child’s care. If your child misses their appointments, you could be compromising their care. We want to remind you of our office policies regarding missed appointments and cancelation fees.

Due to the extensive amount of time our staff and doctor devote to preparing and reserving uninterrupted time for your child’s care, we have developed these policies. A missed appointment is when you fail to show up for an appointment without a phone call, voice message, or email and cancel without any prior notification. A broken appointment is an appointment that was broken within the 48hr window with a prior notification.

Missed Appointments: We request at least 48 hours’ notice before cancellation. We also request that you please notify us of any issues concerning your appointment date/time. We value you preparing us ahead of time for a broken appointment. However, without any prior notification, the patient will receive a missed appointment. Every patient is allowed 1 missed appointment. We do reserve the right to charge $50.00 non-refundable reservation fee to hold your next appointment after you have missed 1 appointment or dismiss from practice.

Late Arrival: We strive to be on time for all patients. If you arrive ten (10) or more minutes late for a scheduled appointment please understand we may not be able to see you at that time, depending on our schedule. However, every effort will be made to fit you in the schedule as quickly as possible. For hygiene appointments, if you arrive outside of the 10-minute policy, please understand you will need to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

Sunny Day Pediatric Dentistry reserves the right to update these office policies at any time. We reserve the right to dismiss patients that exceed 2 broken appointments, or 1 Missed appointment.
