Your Child’s First Visit

Our practice places the highest priority on the comfort, happiness, and dental health of your child. Our goal is to make the first visit a positive experience for you and your child.

At Sunny Day Pediatric Dentistry, our top priority is to create a fun and comfortable environment for our patients. Your child may be nervous about their first visit and our team will help to ease their anxiety. It is our goal to provide you and your child with a wonderful experience!

During your child’s first visit our experienced pediatric dentist, Dr. Richards, will perform an examination of the mouth, teeth, and gums. Any concerns you may have will be addressed, and a cleaning and fluoride treatment will be performed to help prevent cavities. X-rays may be taken if necessary to detect cavities. Because pediatric dentistry is primarily focused on prevention, we will also make recommendations for you as a parent on how to best care for your child’s teeth at home.

Your child’s first visit with us may include:

You can have peace of mind knowing that your child’s oral health is in the hands of a highly experienced and caring pediatric dental team.

Insurance and Billing

We can help you maximize your benefits. We recommend that you contact our office prior to your child’s appointment to provide us with insurance information for verification of benefits. We accept most major dental insurance and will file most claims for you as a courtesy. We will provide you with an explanation of your child’s dental benefits and financial responsibilities up front, and work with you to ensure financing if needed.

We provide multiple financing options including an in-house membership plan to ensure your child can receive the treatments they need with a plan you can afford.
